Apple is still undergoing completion of their headquarters in California, which is built to compliment the campus at One Infinite Loop. Now officially named as Apple Park, it is officially welcoming employees, however it is going to take months to make the full transition of 12,000 employees.
“Steve’s vision for Apple stretched far beyond his time with us. He intended Apple Park to be the home of innovation for generations to come. The workspaces and parklands are designed to inspire our team as well as benefit the environment. We’ve achieved one of the most energy-efficient buildings in the world, and the campus will run entirely on renewable energy.”
Along with the 1,000 bikes which will be held on the site and available to all staff to navigate around the campus. There will reportedly be 18-foot tables for employees to take advantage of and to aid a none office like atmosphere. This creation will be gathering most of the power for the facilities from an on-site low carbon Central plant, and the structure of the building heavily integrated solar panels for more energy supply.
This one of a kind creation is nearly complete, yet something tells me its not the end of this creation, or surround area.
